The first days were brutal. Detox stripped me down physically and emotionally. I was homeless, broken, and carrying a deep weight of depression, with nowhere else to turn. I truly believed this was my last door.

Today, I am no longer that person. I am whole again. And I will always be grateful for the Teen Challenge Kentucky director who looked past my record and said ‘Yes’—when twenty-five others said ‘No.’”
